So the question has arisen over whether Nunavut’s border is at the latitude and longitude intersection or at the intersection where the other three places meet. ---

The survey for the Manitoba/Saskatchewan border is off slightly but the NWT/Nunavut border has never been surveyed, therefore by default, the intersection is still a quadripoint. The erroneous survey would be corrected if ordered but this is unlikely due to it’s remote location and there is no dispute over it’s placement. Legally, the border is still defined as 60°00’N by 102°00’W and the legislation specifically describes the creation of a precise quadripoint. ---
