What are you doing today?

1. Going to work for a couple hours in the morning. Straighten the house. Laundry. Hit up Trader Joe’s. Make lunch for work tomorrow. Hang a couple pictures on the wall. Eat leftover ribeye from fancy restaurant we dined at yesterday.
2. Going to the Woodruff Place Victorian Emporium Flea Market (Indianapolis). Madame P. and I always set up a tent at my sister’s house and sell her dragon sculptures. We may treat ourselves to elephant ears, figgy goat pops or strawberry shortcake throughout the day.
3. Hoping my best friend has time to talk to me, she’s been very busy, but I have important things to discuss, advice needed.
4. Going to church, then we’re helping to paint the youth room there. Lunch will be provided. Then my wife and I are going for a nice, long walk. Later, two people should be coming over to pick up some items I posted on Freecycle. Then, some house cleaning, some straightening up. And then we’ll watch Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Cavaliers at Warriors. GO WARRIORS!!!
5. Write. Get a manuscript ready to send to the editor. Nap. Watch TV.

11. Warriors win – check. Next up is to do some basic car maintenance: oil & filter change, tire rotation, drain the fuel filter water separator (it’s a diesel engine). These things are overdue. Also, mount the trellis for the climbing roses; map my road trip routes for my upcoming vacation (Italy!) because we leave in 2 weeks; scan our IDs and print copies, for this trip; do some job searching and applying; and then we do a dinner double date with my friend the Italian Stallion and his lovely girlfriend. Yep, that’s the plan for the day.

Behavior by strangers in public that raises your diastolic blood pressure at least 3 points

1. Aggressive driving. You’re not only being stupid, you are endangering innocents.
2. Road boulders, slow drivers in the left lanes, or not in the right lane. They impede the flow of traffic. They often don’t scan their rear- and side-view mirrors. They’re impervious to others using the roadways. Very inconsiderate.
3. Spitting.
4. People who get off an escalator and just stand there, blocking the people behind them.
5. Racial epithets.
6. People hogging two parking spaces
7. People who pay for their groceries and then spend the next five minutes organizing their purse/putting away their checkbook, receipts, coins, paper money, etc. without moving off to let the next person have the payment area.
8. People who try to humiliate someone in pubic, especially thier own children, by scolding or criticizing them

12. People who cut in line, in stores, on the road, wherever. On my route home is an entrance ramp where drivers zoom up and cut in front of 10+ cars that have been waiting \>:-(
