Frustrating things about Thanksgiving 1. Have to deep clean the house to make it ready for company 2. Still haven’t finished raking the yard. 3. Heavy traffic heading out of town on Wednesday. 4. Reminds me I need to start my Christmas shopping 5. Getting “dressed up” 6. Forgetting to start defrosting the turkey until it is too late to do it right 7. One of the NFL games always includes the Detroit Lions 8. Dealing with last minute changes in plans 9. Getting everything cooked and heated and out to the table at the same time 10. Having to pretend to believe in God during prayers 11. Having to deal with customers in the store who, after making their purchase, say “You shouldn’t have to work on the holiday.” No good smart answer to that one. 12. Finding adequate space in the fridge and freezer for all the leftovers. 13. Getting rid of all those Thanksgiving leftovers. And now: Frustrating things about Christmas 1.
