Jambalaya 10. Miller As in Stu Miller, the SF Giants pitcher who got “blown off the mound at Candlestick Park” at the 1961 All Star Game. That’s the embellished version. Candlestick Park was known for its wind and fog. In truth, a strong gust of wind caused Miller to sway slightly, resulting in a balk. So yeah, Miller is a type of Stu. ---

2018 Summer Plans 1. Working. New job, no vacation days accrued. Some short weekend trips. Nothing too exciting. 2. 5 weeks on my island in Georgian Bay and fixing up a little 14’ runabout with a 50hp with my kids. 3. Mostly staying home, but also a week on the beach in Nags Head, N.C., and a long weekend in Nawlins visiting my five best high school buddies 4. My baby girl, youngest of 3, turns 30 on Saturday.
