Pocketful of Miracles Some trivia about that movie: one of Falk’s co-stars was Thomas Mitchell, the veteran character actor best known perhaps as Scarlett’s father Gerald O’Hara in _GWTW_. At the time he was cast for that movie Mitchell was appearing as Lt. Columbo in the Broadway play _Prescription Murder_. (Mitchell was the second person to play the role; the character had appeared on a TV anthology series a couple of years before.) ---
