Super Bowl XXIX, in 1995. The first Super Bowl I remember. I was 13. (I wasn’t at all cognizant of sports until about 1994). We had a big Super Bowl party at our Presbyterian church for all the “Niners” on that day. 5. My nephew was born in upstate NY with the Buffalo Bills playing, on Jan. 26, 1992, Super Bowl XXVI 6. Watching the Super Bowl with my father. He’s a New England fan and I’m a Buffalo fan so he usually enjoys it more than I do. ---

Favorite Super Bowl Sunday Activity / Memory 1. San Francisco 49ers, 55-10 win over Denver in Super Bowl XXIV - Still to date, the most lopsided Super Bowl score. Ever. EVER!!! 2. Indianapolis Colts over the Chicago Bears, 29-17 in Super Bowl XLI - The first time one of my pro teams ever won it all 3. Super Bowl VI — the first Super Bowl I remember. I was 9. 4. Super Bowl XXXII, Denver Broncos 31-24 over the Green Bay Packers — at a party with coworkers. The night before I had gone on a date and fell in love with one of them — that night changed my life, and she’s now my wife. But back then, at the beginning of a new and wonderful relationship, we played it cool among our other coworkers. It wasn’t easey. We’ve been together now for 21 years, married for 16 of them. ---

Baking Super Bowl cakes for bake sales at my kids’ schools when they were little; the cakes were a big hit.
