Your favorite moments at the 2012 Olympics (multiple answers per person are fine) 1. Gabby Douglas winning gold in gymnastics 2. Elizabeth Beisel medalling in swimming (since she’s from my hometown of North Kingstown, RI!) 3. Women’s Beach Volleyball - All American for the gold! 4. The Queen and 007 parachuting in for the opening ceremony 5. Rowan Atkinson in the Opening Ceremonies 6. Spain men giving the US men a strong run for basketball gold (this, after Kobe said this US team could beat the 1992 Dream Team - ha!) 7. Kirani James swapping numbers with Oscar Pistorius following the 400m semifinal race. 8. David Rudisha, Kenya, sets the first track World Record at the 2012 Olympic games and is the first ever to break 1:41 in the 800m race. 9. Mexico beats Brazil and wins gold in men’s soccer! (Excuse me, _ **fútbol** _) 10. 17-year old swimmer Missy Franklin wins four Gold Medals. ---
