Scariest movies you’ve ever watched
1. John Carpenter’s The Thing-ended at 2 am…suffice it to say I didn’t get much sleep that morning…
2. Alien, dir. by Ridley Scott - saw it in my teens and was scared out of my wits
3. The Wizard of Oz (I was 3 or 4, and those flying monkeys terrified me)
4. Diary of a Madman, with Vincent Price. An alien disembodied creature possesses Vincent and uses his body to kill those he loves the most, then steps back and lets Vincent see what he’s done. When I was 13, that stayed with me for weeks.
5. Amityville Horror, the original. Because it was supposed to be a true story and I was 17 at the time.
6. JAWS - Drive-in 1975, scarred for life. I still have a shark phobia and do not swim in open water or even pools at night. When I do go swimming in a lake or the ocean, I make sure I’m surrounded by alot of non-suspecting victims to act as bait and aid my escape.
