# Bakers Dozen

Your first pet (feel free to add in your age at the time):

1. Siamese cat named Cupcake
2. German Shepherd named Heidi
3. A black cat named Spooky
4. Leonard the “chameleon” (that’s what the pet store in New York called it… really, it was an anole, which my son can find in the backyard, here in Texas, any time he wants)
5. A black kitten named Verdi, that never made it to adulthood, alas
6. Mittens the cat
7. Pussywillow the cat, when I was 2 1/2. A kitten from a litter of strays that our neighbor found, we instantly bonded. Lived to age 19.
8. Boots, a German Shepherd/Collie mix that we got when I was only a couple of months old
9. 6 budgies, 25.
10. Tiger, tabby cat, 9
