In my paranoia, I believe that _they_ already have a way to prevent hair loss but they’re not releasing it because; think of all the revenue lost from the creams, rugs, surgeries, razors, hats etc. It’s mind boggling. I’m losing hair just thinking about. 🙂 ---

We’re letting the conversation stray here. It just seems to be a simple thing if one were to look at why most women DON’T lose their hair and most men DO lose some, just take whatever guck is in a women, put it into a man and voila’ - hairy heads all over the place. ---

**Tarkus** , if it will help you to feel better about being bald, I will shave my head for you. (I am a woman, of course.) Now, the other part of the bargain is that you have to wear a maxi pad 7 days out of every 28. I’m sure you’ll do that in the interest of equality between the sexes, right? 😛 p.s. Most people are more bald on their body than hairy. Some bald guys wear hats & some not bald guys shave to be bald. Someone said bald is more sexy cause there is more tactile sensation. Hmm ---

I’m now bald by choice. Not because my hair was thinning or anything. It’s just easier to take care of scalp than hair. And “bald is sexy” is **not** an old wives’ tale! The first bear party I went to after I shaved my head for the first time, I practically had to keep a schedule to fit in all the people who wanted some alone-time with me. Which was definitely a change from previous bear parties… jayjay ---

All things equal, I’d rather have hair. I have friends with high blood pressure and diabetes. Of the choices, I’ll take the baldness. Hey, someone in this thread has already suggested I shave off the fringe. (Maybe I will someday). I am not takling a drug the rest of my life to have hair. Tarkus - baldness is largely due to testosterone side products. It is kinda what makes the diff? Also why post menopausal women frequently have thin hair. I guess if the bald guys took enough estogen to counteract it, they’d have their hair. And need a bra. ---

Anyone want my hair? I mean, I have to shave it off like every three days or so, and it’s a bit of a hassle. So if someone could just take MY hair, we’d both be happy. ---

There’s a more-or-less infallible method to prevent (though not reverse) male baldness – castration. For some reason, it’s never become fashionable. ---

I like close-cut hair—the balding comb-over thing has got to be the worst look a man can sport. I dated a man with an excellent hairpiece that fooled me for about a month. I finally got him to show up for a date without the rug and later got him to cut his hair really really short.
