# Bamadope III? It’s been two months since the last Bamadope, and I figured I’d start the ball rolling on a simple discussion of when a good time for the next one would be. So just start tossing out ideas. Being the little college student I am, I’m free a lot of weekends…plus, since I am in college now, we don’t necessarily have to have a Bamadope in Tuscaloosa, even though that’d be incredibly convenient for me (I live here now). I’m fine with having a Dope in B’ham or Montgomery or even Huntsville for that matter, so you guys throw some cards on the table and we’ll try to find what fits. ---

Well, you know I’ll be there!!! 😃 I’m planning on having a special DopeWarming for my new house, but with framers refusing to call us back who knows when the hell that’ll be… probably not til January at least. If people want to hold off for that, fine, but before then is great too! I have two weeks off starting at Christmas, plus with enough advance notice I can get pretty much any weekend free. The location of the last one (that was Tuscaloosa, right?) was fine- only took me about 2 hours to get there. I’ll volunteer for carpooling for anyone from Atlanta… leave your car at my place and we’ll head out together. What do the rest of y’all think? -BK ---

I know I’m not a _real_ BamaDoper and all (sniff), but – barring any unforeseen circumstances – I should be in Montgomery just after Christmas. From the stories that I’ve heard, Bamadopers sound like an incredible bunch, and I’d like to meet y’all, gosh darn it. 🙂 ---

Well, since the lovely Serendipity will be gracing Alabama with her presence sometime after Christmas, maybe we should set the date then. (I mean, I know that’s a long way off, but maybe that’ll help some of our other Dopers in planning, since it IS such a long way off.) So, what day? ---

Well, do we want a multi-day thing? We could do the 28-29th, Friday and Saturday. That might entice people who are a little further away [sub](like, oh, say… just off the top of my head… **think** and **superdude** )[/sub]. Otherwise we could just do the Saturday thing, but I’d like to suggest that people who could make it earlier than last time should do so, then meet up with the dinner crowd. Actually, I have a different car than I had at the time of the last one (bad car, breaking down like that). It all depends on work, and we’ve not planned our schedule that far out yet. But, I know we’re closed the 24th & 25th, and I’ve put in for vacation the 26,27 and 28. Assuming boss lady is cool with that, then it’s all good. ---
