Oh, FINE. Get me where it hurts. But you owe me. Here’s what I sent the lovely **Serendipity** … ::cough:: ::cough:: ::insert noise that only cats can make when bringing up something truly revolting:: See, here’s what I’m thinking. I’m thinking, what’s with all these other spoiled rotten Dopers getting multi-day 'fests, and us only getting a few measly hours? I’m thinking, I’ve got Geo and Bill lined up for a 'Fest, and you can’t just spend a few hours with them. I’m thinking, I’m gonna have this huge-ass house that needs Doper Blessings. So… I’m thinking a weekend-long BamaDope. Friday to Sunday. Friday night, dinner and movies and merriment at the Brand New Kitty House. Saturday, breakfast at the Kitty House, then travel into B’ham for shopping and hanging and eating and drinking merriment. Back to the Kitty House in the weeeeeeeee hours of Sunday morning. Sunday, brunch at the Kitty House followed by sad, tear-filled goodbyes. Chauffering to and from the B’ham or Atlanta airports for those coming in from Outside. Yes, you heard it here first. The Brand New Kitty House will be available for BamaDope IV. Space enough to sleep many, many, many a Doper. And for those rugged outdoors-Dopers, there’s camping in the 16-acre back yard. That July weekend sounds fine. I would strongly recommend the 10th of August, however… as I have an overwhelming need to meet **Zappo**. 😃 Happy now, **Osip**? -BK ---

I’d really like to attend, **but** : I’ll be out of this area for an extended period and returning on July 21st. (neat timing, eh?) If y’all go with some alternative date, I’ll do my best, but don’t change any dates just for me. My work schedules and locations are not predictable, so the best I can do is: “make it if I can”. I would like to meet up with some fellow dopers if or when I get a chance to. I think I could sacrifice and adapt to **bobkitty’s** plan 😃 if work doesn’t interfere. ---

Doing the shindig at **bobkitty’s** palace sounds all kinds of fun, but alas…I shan’t be able to attend if it’s an all weekend type thing. [sub][sup]Kids, husband, outta-town type shenanigans…that type of **stupid** stuff always interfering[/sub][/sup]. (sniff) That’s ok, though. I just need to see pictures! Really wish I could do a weekend long BamaDope. [whine] This ain’t fair!!! I wanna go play, too!!![/whine] ---

Alas, but I won’t be able to do Housewarming-Dope either (at least not at the dates suggested). I’ll still be at home those weekends and under my parents’ reign and there’s no way they’re going to let me do that. But that’s cool…it’ll be a great photo op. 🙂 ---

LOL, **Hob**. I’m in West GA now, but by that point will have moved to the Palacial Estate just over the line in East AL. Mr. Kitty is in line for a director’s position in Newnan, and the drive would take him approximately 30-45 minutes (of course, Mr. Kitty drives like a little old woman, so YMMV). Let’s see… ::checking list:: … **Osip** ’s down for a bed and a hot water bottle. Right. 😉 Now, would that be the full or twin-size bed? The queen-size is currently reserved for **Geo**. 'K. Few more thoughts. Friday night… drinking and eating and movie watching and merriment til the wee hours. Saturday morning… breakfast. Then off to the B’ham Zoo, which I’ve been DYING to go to and think would be a fab place to meet up with the people who [sub]are too much of a stick-in-the-mud to want to hang out all weekend, especially at the Kitty House which is gonna be the coolest place ever[/sub] can’t make it Friday night. Tour the zoo, etc, then participate in Saturday night merriment. The Kitty House is about half an hour from B’ham, so driving back to the House, even in the wee hours, isn’t a big deal. Sunday morning, brunch and etc. Where should we fit in the oral sex? 😉 ---

Probable stick-in-the-mud checking in here. Unfortunately, both those weekends (July 19-21 and August 9-12) appear to be really bad for me right now. If they open up, I’m all over it, though. Also, add to that my fervent wish to get a job out of state very soon, not so my rights as a BamaDoper can be rescinded, but so I can get my long-derailed life back on track. Hope you guys have tons of fun, though, and I’ll try to make it if I possibly can… ---
