LOL, **Hob**. Clearly you havenā€™t seen the pictures of the House. šŸ˜‰ Okayā€¦ itā€™s 58 miles from the House to Newnan. I can make the drive (using 27) in between 30-45 minutes. I underestimated the trip to Bā€™hamā€¦ itā€™s 70 miles from the House, straight interstate, which is between 45-an hour. Of course, I drive like a maniac. So YMPDV. Okay, folks. Putting the Kitty Paw down now. Hereā€™s the planā€¦ Dates: August 9-11 Location: Birmingham Tentative schedule: Friday afternoon, arrival. Friday evening: movies and dinner at the Kitty House. Saturday: Post-breakfast, head into Bā€™ham to the Zoo and surrounding attractions (the botanical gardens sound very nice). Saturday evening: dinner, clubs, fun. Sunday: Brunch. Departure. Anyone who will be requiring pick-up and drop-off at the airport, let me know. Birmingham is actually a lovely airport, and cheaper to fly into than Atlanta, but if you _must_ use Hartsfield weā€™ll still come and get you. Anyone driving in, email me and Iā€™ll get you directions. Closer to the Event Iā€™ll need to know who Iā€™ll be putting up. Already got **Osip, Geo, Unca, and Lindy**. Oooooā€¦ thisā€™ll be FUUUUUN!!! ---

The botanical gardens look absolutely beautiful. Take a look at some of the flowers [here](http://www.bbgardens.org/Image_Gallery.htm). Oooh, and if we go to the [Birmingham Zoo](http://www.birminghamzoo.com), we can feed the lorikeets! According to the site, ā€œthese small colorful parrots from Australia are trained to land gently on your arm and sip nectar from your cup.ā€ Iā€™m all shades of excited about BamaDope IV. šŸ˜ƒ ---
