Apotheosis: Dr Pepper wanted to put an ad on Fark. It’s a PSA about three days ago on the list. I can’t believe how many cliches here are from Fark. We must be the cliche bitches of the net. Killing kittens and I’d Hit It photoshops will always be excellent though. And FTR, Fark started the Ackbar thing and SA copied it. I’ve been reading Fark long enough to get the cliches, but that “your dog wants steak” thing went totally over my head. Can anyone help? Also, in the “sick of it” pile, Fark’s probable #2 cliche (behind France Surrenders IMO)–“so and so is pregnant. Fb- is the father.” ---

Elwood, I believe that that particular one originated with a _Sun_ article about a “pet therapist.” It’s hard to be sure, though, since all those _Sun_ articles tend to run together after a while. ---
