Back when they were both popular, I used to mix up **Sheila E.** and **Sheena Easton**. (Not something I have to worry about much these days.) ---

**_Brand_ names easily confused for one another** Easy-On and Easy-Off. Which one is the spray starch and which one is the oven cleaner? This could be important to know. [Duz](http://farm1.static.flickr.com/50/130176378_17ab9228f2.jpg) and [Zud](http://i.ehow.com/images/GlobalPhoto/Articles/2071120/ZudLabel-main_Full.jpg). Duz Does Everything. But Zud does things Duz doesn’t. ---

I know I’m showing my age and a lot of the younge Dopers won’t have the foggiest idea who I’m talking about, but I can remember when Mahogany Rush (later _Frank Marino’s Mahogany Rush_) was often confused with fellow Canucks, Rush. ---
