As mentioned this symbol appears on all Iron Maiden Album covers. [http://www.av1611.org/crock/images/ironms.jpg](http://www.av1611.org/crock/images/ironms.jpg) It’s a symbol of Derek Rigg’s though who is the artist and not the band itself. ---

Negativland has their little house-casting-a-shadow symbol, seen [here](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/23/3138_1.JPG) on the cover of their album _A Big 10-8 Place_. They don’t like using the name of their band on T-shirts, so they use this symbol instead. It’s also one of my tattoos!
