Banff National Park

I can’t recommend the hike to Sentinel Pass highly enough, but the trailhead is at Moraine Lake and parking can be no fun The scenery was found worthy of being put on our money for a few years, though, so you know it must be good. The plain of six glaciers off Lake Louise is nice too, as is the Agnes Tea House. Or you can blow out of Banff early in the morning and head to Canmore then use the Spray Lakes Trail to get to Burstall Pass. I find Burstall Pass to be one of the nicer hikes in the Banff/Canmore/Kananaskis area. Behold:
