While cruising around the net, I stopped at [www.aljazeera.com](http://www.aljazeera.com) to see things from a different perspective. It’s an interesting site unto itself, but this post is about something I saw there. A banner ad for [www.middleoffice.com](http://www.middleoffice.com) caught my eye. It had a smiling picture of Yasser Arafat with the caption of “Guess Where I Keep My Money?” Clicking on it takes you to [http://www.middleoffice.com/accounts.htm](http://www.middleoffice.com/accounts.htm). > [@](#): > > MiddleOffice provides you with your own personal internet offshore swiss bank account. Is this stuff on the application form itself? “Reason for opening account (check one): Tax Evasion Money Laundering White Collar Crimes (specify: embezzlement phishing fractional penny theft like taking the pennies from the tray or like they did in Superman III)” Do you have to pass an interview to see if your criminal offense is serious enough that they wouldn’t take your money? I’m waiting for the whoosh. There are typos on the page so maybe it’s a joke… Is [www.aljazeera.com](http://www.aljazeera.com), the source for the link, actually an Onion-like parody? I mean, WTF?
