# Bank Robbing is not very Profitable

Wait until they get that big shipment of French Louis d’Or, then tunnel in from the pawn shop next door.  
Just don’t try to run any scams about having red hair. That’s a proven attention-getter.

Do they ever tell you what they do with the money they stole?

I’m guessing “a diversified portfolio of managed risk designed to balance long-term goals of capital enhancement against shorter term income flow” is not in the Top Ten answers.

like the old soap opera line “like sands through the hour glass”. In one case though, an embezzler stole $20k from her employer, packed up her (new) furniture and moved to another state.

where she was found a few months later and extradited back.  
that was the only one who had something to show for it.  
mostly it’s gold that then gets sold to buy drugs or pay a shut off notice or whatever.

oh, and once, according to the client she wrote the bad checks to “pay for the headstone for her murdered sister”. Twangs the old heart strings, doesn’t it?

(the checks were from grandma, so I doubt that they went to the headstone. Yes, though, there was a murdered sister).

I have friends who are in orchestra with that guy (I go to Moravian, but some of the music people here play in Lehigh’s orchestra). Everyone was talking about this today, and then I came home to find a Pit thread on it. Gee.
