Banks and Mortgage Loan officers

Great job taking the bank our of the equation, even if it puts a little more stress on your resources.

One of the problems appears to be that there’s no accountability to individual buyers. If Bank of Incompetence screws up your loan on the last week of closing, most people can’t pick up and move to Bank of Lost Paperwork. If you have a horrible experience with BoLP, you could take your business elsewhere, but it’s seven years down the road when you buy your next house. Anybody involved with BoLP is losing paperwork at other banks or branches, BoLP has been making money off your loan the whole time, and you’re merely a drop in giant pool of money.

Here is my experience from a couple years back.

Thanks.

No worries, we consider it a (hopefully) stable retirement resource that won’t have to be touched for years. Meanwhile, darling daughter and granddaughter have a place to live.
