Well, just to update, I went to my bank today and closed my account. I just got a little bothered. I went in to cash a check and the teller was extremely rude and also very unprofessional (I guess rudeness would be unprofessional-ness) but I haven’t opened an account anywhere yet. I wandered by the credit union on my way to campus, but had to be in class so I just kept on going.
I checked their website last night and found out that the ATM group they use is Star atms or something like that. I know there is at least two in town and there is one about 5 minutes from my parents (since we stay there when we have a few days in a row off, it’s nice to have an atm near) Also, I’ve been looking into internet banking, such as Ing.com and am not sure if it is something I would be interested in or not. Of course, right now I just have $375 in a lock box and a non-working ATM card.
