I’m looking to send two books to a friend in Turkey and I don’t want their customs to take any of them. I need to find out if they are banned or not. The first book is “When Wanderers Cease to Roam: A Traveler’s Journal to Staying Put” by Vivian Swift and the second is “A Journey Around My Room” by Xavier De Maistre. Is there a full list I can find anywhere for future reference? Also, is it permitted to send a dried flower in one of the books?

Yes, I’ve already tried looking this up on my own with no success, that’s why I’m asking here…

Have you tried contacting the Turkish embassy?
