# Banned From Board....What Gives? Discrimination?

I recommended this Message Board to a Friend.  
He Registered, interracted, and Posted a Topic!

Unfortunately,being a new member, He Posted his topic in the  
wrong Category.

Apparently, by making an error…First, his thread was moved  
to the appropriate category

Then…He was Banned from the Board!

I saw his post, no vulgarity…What Gives? Why was he Banned?

is this Discrimination or Censorship?

I was all set ‘n’ ready to hit “report this post” until I actually read the [thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=227906&highlight=benet). Yes, it’s probably my sick sense of humor that made me giggle, but I don’t see the reason for the closing or banning (unless it’s a returning troll, of course).

I doubt that the OP in the wrong forum was the reason for the banning - there has to be some back history here. As usual, the best method of dealing with it is via email (you or your friend) to the appropriate Mod/Admin…

There was ample evidence to assume that **Lindbergh baby** was trolling. After some email exchange and discussion, we’re willing to reconsider, pending further evidence one way or another. If we moved too hastily, our apologies.
