_Bubby_ is a variant of _booby_, as in “breast.” _Booby_ itself is not banned, presumably because it has non-offensive uses, namely the bird. However, as you note, _bubby_ also has non-offensive uses, namely as a variant of _bubbe_ (“grandmother”). I don’t know whether the Scrabble people recognize that meaning. ---

But dooby isn’t an anatomical term. Also, the unscrambled words in each category are in alphabetical order. The entries bdeioos and bdooy come between the scrambled entries for boobie and bubby, so they have to start with B. I’m thinking boodies and boody. But I’ve never seen those spellings before. Booty, of course, has non-offensive uses (as in “the pirate’s booty”) so it wasn’t banned. ---

This really feels more like an Onion article than a real list. I mean, sure, a few words like, erm, “ginger” I get. But some of these words are fairly inoffensive, AFAIK, and don’t seem to target anyone based on gender or ethnicity. We all have ears, I mean, we all have an arse. (Damned autocorrect changed “arse” to “arsenal.” It’ll be a sad day when we all have one of those.) ---

Slurs (national origin) include boche(s) bogtrotter(s) bohunk(s) chola(s) cholo(s) dago dagos dagoes ginzo(es) kanaka(s) kike(s) mick(s) pepsi(s) polack(s) pommie pommy pommies raghead(s) spic(s) spick(s) spik(s) wetback(s). Ginzo (a person from Guinea) and Pepsi (a French Canadian) are new ones to me. I still haven’t deciphered densuv (based on its position in the list, it must begin with U or V) or ccehilu (must begin with C). ---

Otherwise you couldn’t use JACK, MARK, RAY, or WILL, among many others. Mercury is a planet, but it’s also an element, so it’s acceptable.
