I’m getting banner ads, even when I’m logged in. This happened sometime after 12:30 AM ET , and before 7:00 AM ET, this morning (Friday 16 January). Anyone else getting banner ads? Is this a glitch, or an increase in the price of free posting? I’m OK either way - I admit I’m a SDMB addict - but I’d like to know. ---

I would assume this is the reason for the ads being displayed. Perhaps your subscription ran out, and it’s time to re-up? ---

On the same subject, I’m getting pop-ups, and I’m a paid subscriber (charter member, even). ---

I think that’s before the system knows who I am. What’s odd is that it only happens about half the time and when it does happen Firefox tells me it just blocked a popup. ---

Your subscription ended yesterday, **Typo Knig** , so the ads will continue to show until a new subscription is purchased. ---
