Once again someone has introduced a bill to ban leghold traps. [http://thomas.loc.gov/](http://thomas.loc.gov/) type in HR1187 All right here is your chance to voice your opinion on a pretty controvercial issue. I only ask for three things. Yea or Nay and have you any experience with traps? You also might want to mention what you base your reasoning on. KISS please OK here goes Do you feel leghold traps should be banned? ---

Wow 30 minutes before I could get back to my own thread No they should not be banned. Yes I have experience with leghold traps. I trapped for several years. I base my opinion on my own experience. ---

No, they should not be banned. In spite of what many people that have never been in the woods think, animals do not suffer undo “stress” when so caught. Animals chewing their own feet off is a myth. I trapped for a little while when I was younger, and once every so often do a little trapping for friends that have pest problems.
