# Banning menthol cigarettes

Slightly decreasing at about 1000 per decade- and remember, those dead today were subjected to the smoke decades ago.

So in other words, it is still a serious problem,

Is that an assumption based on the previous rate of decrease, or is that based on somewhat current stats?

Are you trying to make some sort of point here or are you just curious about the stats? Dr.Deth’s cite showed that second hand smoke can be deadly.

If its going down, its likely because anti-smoking regulations reduced exposure. Which just strengthens his point that anti-smoking regulations are a good thing.
