Administrators have more powers than moderators do. I can change various options about the message board itself, for example. I WON’T, because in this organization, there’s more than one admin and we’d all pretty much have to agree that a change was needed. I can also do things like give people custom titles. Usually I won’t do that, either, as there’s just too many people who want one for me to accommodate everyone.
