# bar bets

there is a similar bet in ny that you can go from manhattan to the bronx without crossing water. a tiny bit of ny county is actually attached to the mainland.

there is a similar bet in ny that you can go from manhattan to the bronx without crossing water. a tiny bit of ny county (the marble hill section) is actually attached to the mainland. the short version is tht around the turn of the century, ther river was redirected to make it a little straighter for boat traffic.

Google maps don’t (doesn’t?\*) show political geography boundaries well.

From what I can see, Manhattan College is north of Cuny Bronx Community College.

\*Depends upon if I mean the maps by Google or “Google Maps” as an entity. I’m saying the maps do a poor job.
