Why didn’t you PM him back and ask instead of asking him in an open and public forum?? If you don’t want to get PMs from someone I believe there is a mechanism for that (simply put the poster on ignore would work). BTW, it sounds like he was making a joke. Just saying, though perhaps some context would help. ---

I didn’t expect members to take a joke to that level. Also, it’s not uncommon for a messageboard to have spammers. I just wasn’t sure. If it was a joke, it was in bad taste and I would have preferred it to stay in the thread. I get a little nervous when people send me pms that say, “You’re my wife now.” I’m a guy by the way. ---

[/QUOTE] Trying to keep this from spinning out of control here, but a couple of things. First off, if someone sends you a creepy PM, just ignore it…and if they keep doing it put them on ignore. Don’t start a Pit thread, unless you like pain and humiliation. Secondly, if you think someone is spamming you, send a (non-creepy) PM to a Mod…that’s why they make the ‘big bucks’ (i.e. coffee mugs and tee shirts). Thirdly, you can click on a posters name to see information about that poster…which, if you had done so with Baron you’d note he has been a member since 2006 and has over 6000 posts in that time. So, hardly someones ‘spam account’. ---
