My sister tended bar for something like 30 years. She said it would happen often, but usually when there were 10 or fewer people in the bar. But one time a guy came in who’d hit the lottery - he bought drinks for everyone all night and tipped my sis $200. And people who didn’t have to buy their drinks that night tipped her what they’d have spent - she raked it in!
