Ah Greg Harris… The running joke about him on the Red Sox flagship radio station is that he is the only pitcher in recent memory to relieve himself on the mound during a game. Jerry Trupiano (the sox broadcaster) digs that one up at least once a year.
Now an obscure question:
How would Stratomatic baseball handle a Greg Harris type? I imagine since he only pitched a fraction of an inning as a lefty, Hal Richmond didn’t rate Harris as a LHP, yet his season stats must have encompassed the one or two batters he faced from the opposite side of the rubber.
