# Baseball backs down

Everybody and their mother screamed bloody murder about MLB putting adverts for Spider-Man 2 on the bases, so they wised up and reversed course.

Still gonna have the logos on the on-deck circles throughout the games and on home plate and the pitching rubber during pregame ceremonies. Still, I’d chalk this up as a win for the fans.

Normally with this quick a change of heart, I’d say it was planned somehow, but I can’t possibly see any positive marketing spin for it.

Just a gimmick. Until both leagues follow the same rules, the only difference is that the A.L has the D.H. rule.
