troub, I’m a Yankee fan living in Michigan but a few years ago I was in St. Louis on business and managed to get to a Cardinal game. I was very impressed with Busch Stadium- very clean and well kept, the concession stands had rear windows so you could watch the game while in line, and really there aren’t any bad seats in the house. While I was in line, I accidentally dropped a five dollar bill and the guy behind me called it to my attention because I didn’t realize it. I dare say that doesn’t happen in all cities! Before I went to the game, I assumed that Busch was like the other multipurpose stadiums like the Vet, Three Rivers, and Riverfront. I was wrong. It’s a great place for a ball game. Good luck to the Cards this year and hope to see a rematch of the 1964 WS this year. ---

Pbtttthhhhbttt. I have a hard time taking anything out of Plastic…er, I mean Orange County seriously. It’s the fakest place in Fakeland. Nothing is real in Orange County, not even the Angels fans. What do they know about pain and suffering? Wat do they know about being a _real fan_? Nothing, because unless the Angels are winning, no one cares. No one lives and dies with the Angels. ---

**B** is for Backup, as in backup shortstop. No relation. As a Yankee fan, I’m not expecting much sympathy - but it’s not a good sign when one of your stars dislocates his shoulder in the first game of the year. And **Cheesesteak** , looks like YES and Cablevision just struck a deal - you should get to see the Yankees this year! And **Deb** , maybe I’ll trade you your opening day pictures for some of mine from 1999, 2000 and 2001. and I wonder why people hate Yankee fans… ---

It was a nasty, albiet totally accidental, collision. Even us Blue Jay fans were really worried - he was down a LONG time. But let’s be honest; Derek Jeter is the fourth best player on the Yankees, maybe fifth best. If their pitching holds up for another year, the lineup is more than good enough even with Wilson at short. ---

B is, of course, for the Braves. 12 consecutive division championships. True, they’ve been off the past few years, but this year’s team, aside from the fact that half their pitching from the past few years is gone and they got blown out by the Expos today with Maddux starting…er, what was I saying? 13 is such an unlucky number. ---
