# Basel Leckerli cookies. Help needed.

For whatever reasons, Leckerli cookies is one of the flavours of Christmas. It has been a while since I last found any good ones (I loved some brand we had at home that came in a can, from God knows where). Now I want to make them myself.

I have found tons of recipes online, but I would like someone to give me some reassurance that they are recommending a recipe they have preprared and liked.

My googling has taught me that the ones I used to have, chewy and with a corner dipped in chocolate, are not necessarily the canonical version. Still, I would prefer something that leans to chewy cookies over hard.
