It’s not called Amish Dave’s. That’s just what we call it. I think it’s Dave’s Engine Repair, and Dave happens to be Amish. He’s been servicing our mower since we got it - well, him and his guys. They do good work and their prices are reasonable, so they’re popular and it takes a while to get everything done. In another month, the wait time will be lots longer. We should have taken it in last month, but \*someone \*never got around to it… Roxy is spending the night with her other grandmother. I’ve been re-watching _The Tudors_ on Netflix. Never did do any laundry. Oh well… ---

When all else fails… reboot. After installing, uninstalling and reinstalling, one call to the internet company, many google searches, resets, checking and rechecking settings, and lots of cursing restarted both phone and pc, and it irks. Should have done that first, saved me a lot of irritation. Now I have to fix my wallpaper, the new copied the pic from the old computer and then stretched it out across the screen. My babies look horribly deformed/ ---

Took the microwave oven with a bad latch to a guy who wanted it. Got the ol’ _Haarschnitt_, got cat litter and a 16 lb. bag of cat food, went to the supermarket for the rest of the jambalaya stuff for Tuesday, and… I got all the makings for Vieux Carrés… for us, not the orifice! ---

We supped and are stuffded. There’s ice cream and apple pie (Sto’ bought. Don’t udge!) to be had but both of us are too full. Imagine that! Now we are all settled in for the evenin’. I, too, have had soap made by **Bumba**. I feel like I am in an elite club! 😃 ---

Son-of-a-wrek was gonna fry catfish this evening but it was just too cool out. Mr.Wrekker said if I really wanted fish he’d go get some in town. I just don’t like it from restuarant. I told him we’d do something else. I made BLTs and country fried him some taters. I wasn’t very hungry. I ate about 1/2 sandwich. My cat’s recieved a bit of bacon each. They really liked it. Betsy Beagle begs so hard for bites it’s nearly impossible to eat bacon around her. I gave her a small bite and a plain rawhide chewy and put her in the garage while we ate. Yorkie Grace doesn’t beg for food. Mr.Wrekker has gone to his poker game. The lil’wrekker and her BF went in to town. Not sure what they’ll eat. She has cash. I gave her some before they left. I shall do nothing else tonight.😃 Y’all have a good one! ---

Doose I want to get up before the bars close, get some Milky Way, & then oceanside sunrise before turning around to drive home, or just shoot locally. One requires getting up at 1am & a 120ish mile round trip whilst the other would have me getting up 5+ hrs later & a \< 5 mile round trip. I _want_ to do the former but have a feeling I’m not gonna. ---

Good Evening. All this talk of Milkshakes ended with me going to Steak and Shake for hamburgers, fries, and a large Chocolate shake. Twas good. Outside of that, not much else accomplished, got my credit card unlocked (suspicious charge in their opinion, but it was all good). OMG - How dare our titles be mundane and pointless in MPSIMS!!! Isn’t there also a rule about junior nodding? _\_ OK, I’m good. I think. **FCD** and I plan to leave really early for breakfast. We want to go to Marie’s Diner and the wait gets crazy on weekends if you don’t get there before 8. So we’re leaving around 7. It’s a really good diner, so worth rising early. Then when we get back, the new terlet will get installed, and the peasants rejoice!!! I hate posting from my tablet - it changed terlet to starlet TWICE! I guess I need to figure how to turn autocorrect off. Stoopit technology!! Happy Sunday anyway! ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 32 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 64 and mostly cloudy for the day. Looks like rain will return tomorrow and hang around for a couple of days. The big plan of the day is deheathenization (I have Chalice and Prayers of The People duty today) and returnin’ to da cave to have soup and cornbread for N.O.L. That will pretty much be the extent of activity here which is fine by me. **MOOOOOOM** I agree. Installin’ a starlet in your bathroom would be weird. 😃 **Nellie** some people like to junior mod. Also, as **MOOOOOOM** said, I do believe junior moddin’ is waaay against the rules. **Beck** if no mod has ever said anything about your thread titles, don’t sweat it. They can change the MMP titles when they pry my cold, dead hands from the keyboard…IOW, highly unlikely to happen. We’ll let the mods decide. For once I didn’t have to get up for the 5am micturation so slept all the way to 7am. Retrieved the Sunday paper in 40F weather, with it supposed to get to 55F, cloudy but dry today, cloudy and raining tomorrow. Have fun deheathenizing, **swampy** (sez the heathen). **Spidey** , plan D sounds like the responsible thing to do…wait a minute, is this the \* real\* spidey we’re talking too??? Back from Marie’s - it was good. I don’t know what they put in their scrambled eggs, but YUM!! Meanwhile, there’s a load of jeans in the washer, a pile of rag-towels in the bathroom awaiting the removal of the terlet, and daughter and SIL are taking their trash, etc, to the convenience center. When they get back, plumbing lesson begins. Apart from maybe another load of laundry, I have nothing to do today. Max chillage shall ensue! Youse guys down south of here do not need to be sending your precip our way, dammit! We’re promised rain Tues and Weds, then cold. Then again, I don’t need to be doing anything outside, so why should I care?? 😃 ---
