And then there have been three different men (that I know of) in the comic universe (in regular continuity) who’ve officially taken up the mantle of Batman - Bruce Wayne, Jean-Paul Valley (Azrael) and Dick Grayson (the original Robin/Nightwing). Azrael had mental problems, and Bruce Wayne eventually had to take down. Personally, I like to see a fight between the David Niven James Bond and the Bat-Mite. 😉 Anyhoo… ---

As I remember, most of the time that we see Bond _not_ working, he’s boozing it up, or “making it” with his girlfriend of the week. For all we know, he _does_ feel bad about killing, but he deals with it by getting sauced and having heartless sex.
