I believe Ranchoth was referencing the films when he mentioned villians crippling Felix Leiter and killing Bond’s wife.
The latter of which happened in what is my personal favorite Bond film - On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969) - starring George Lazenby, whose career was unfortunately destroyed by fickle Bond fans.
IMO, it shouldn’t really matter, but just for the record, six different actors have played James Bond - Sean Connery, David Niven, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan.
And eight actors have played Bruce Wayne/Batman - Robert Lowery, Lewis Wilson, Jing Abalos , Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, and now Christian Bale (who we’ve yet to actually see in action.) Olan Soule, Kevin Conroy, and now Rino Romano have voiced Bruce Wayne/Batman in the cartoons.
And then there have been three different men (that I know of) in the comic universe (in regular continuity) who’ve officially taken up the mantle of Batman - Bruce Wayne, Jean-Paul Valley (Azrael) and Dick Grayson (the original Robin/Nightwing). Azrael had mental problems, and Bruce Wayne eventually had to take down.
Personally, I like to see a fight between the David Niven James Bond and the Bat-Mite.
How do you know he doesn’t? How often do we see Bond off-duty? As I remember, most of the time that we see Bond not working, he’s boozing it up, or “making it” with his girlfriend of the week. For all we know, he does feel bad about killing, but he deals with it by getting sauced and having heartless sex. (A couple of the movies touched on this…In Goldeneye, 006 comments “I might as well ask if all those Vodka Martinis silence the screams of all the men you’ve killed, or if you’ve found forgiveness in the arms of all those willing women…for the ones you failed to protect?”)
