I wouldn’t read too much into the title. Some things just sound right in one order and strange if it’s reversed. Like Ben & Jerry’s; Pork and Beans; Assault and Battery. ---

They seem to be borrowing the language used for court cases. But don’t they know that the v has a period and isn’t capitalized? Why go halfway? Oh, and Batman killed Superman in the comic they got this idea from, so stop acting like it’s an unfair battle. Batman has plans to take out every superhero and villain if necessary. (That he doesn’t deem it necessary to take out his villain rivals is what makes him not so much a hero.) ---

Not to get into a full-on geek-fight here, but two things: 1. Batman, with preparation time, can defeat almost anyone, regardless of how powerful. I haven’t read the specific comic, but I believe he’s already beaten Superman. Though that might’ve been the dumbed-down IQ thing mentioned upthread. 2. Superman gave Batman a kryptonite ring as a precaution in the event Superman ever goes rogue. I can see that happening in the movie as well. ---

Yeah, but I’m not sure how Batman defeats Superman without it. He’s beaten him before, but I’m not sure if it ever happened without Kryptonite involved somehow. ---

When I was a comics reading kid, Superman and Batman were pals. What exactly is the source of their present animus? If Superman couldn’t handily defeat Batman outright, surely he could just reveal his secret identity as Bruce Wayne.
