Evening all. I decided I had saved enough money this week (mostly by staying home) and went to Freddy’s Steakburgers for dinner, which was satisfactory. To all who asked, the candy bar in question was a 1/4 lb. Hershey’s chocolate bar and for that much, I want something to wash it down with. But that’s just me. Thanks for the kind thoughts, **Thel** and others; I’ll try to keep up with the doggie story. **shady** , family is…something. Don’t have much extended family left, so I’ve avoided those situations, but my Mom had 2 brothers and a sister and relationships between them when I was growing up were…interesting. **nellie** , apparently the dogs and cats have learned to ignore her–to bad the neighborhood can’t do the same…if it persists, a visit by the cops (or at least animal control) may be in order. **suze** , good luck with the relocation. **doggio** , earthquake, thunderstorm, wreck…well, there’s always tornadoes to look forward to… **Moooooommm** , sounds like you accomplished much today. Take an Advil for good luck tomorrow… And that’s all for the week that was…all y’all be safe and I’ll catch you on the next MMP. ---

I just had to reply, since Chet Huntley and David Brinkley on NBC were our go-to ‘nightly news’ at dinner, not Walter Cronkite or whoever ABC had that week. So I probably heard that thousands of times in my life. ---

Alas, Tikva brought it back in (I guess it was the same one), but then she took it out again. ---

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to sort. Will there be chaos? Will there be (more)Biblical plagues? Will there be human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria? Tune in to the next MMP to find out! ---

Someone called out at irk today, so imma get me some of that sweet, sweet overtime money. Beats sitting around bored, worrying about money! Kill, like, three birds with one stone there. It’s muggy after last night’s storms, and I’m sure I’ll regret it in a few hours. Heh - some people call big storms a “gullywasher” imma start calling them “pot scrubbers.” I set my roasting pan outside last night, for Mother Nature to clean for me. (I swear I admitted that here already, but don’t see it. My mind is gone, folks, sorry for any repeats.) ---

I think you mentioned it in the now-current MMP. This is last week’s. 😉 ---
