# Battery sizes?

There are A, AA, C and D batteries, what happened to B? or CC for that matter. Where there even any batteries beyond D?

Not to say Cecil is Ameri-centric, but a June 2002 [Yahoo usenet board](http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OldRockets/message/3396) says
