Which Corey is better, Feldman or Haim?? Inquiring minds want to know. Heh.

Well, Haim got to nail Nicole Eggert in _Blown Away_. And wooed Heather Graham in _License to Drive_.

Feldman was the voice of Donatello in the _Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles_ Movies.

I’m thinking Haim wins easily.

Ah, but where is Corey Haim now? Corey Feldman did a tour de force performance on _The Surreal Life_ not so long ago, and Corey Haim is still apparently happy to try skating on his glories from the 80s.

I’ve got to give the contest to Feldman, for longevity’s sake.

This is like trying to choose between a red hot poker up my butt or having my eyes scooped out with a melon baller.

Unfair question. Both were needed for _The Lost Boys_ and _License to Drive_. Yes, they are turdalicious actors, but they were cosmically right for those movies.

Well, rumour has it Haim tried to sell a molar on Ebay. I’ not sure if that is a plus or a minus for him. It’s got to be worth something right?

Ah hell, I got to go with Haim. I’m always a sucker for he underdog.

A couple years ago Haim fell into a coma for a bit after a drug overdose.

More recently as **Emperor Penguin** mentioned, he has stooped to selling a (very rotted and yucky looking) tooth and clumps of hair on eBay. eBay pulled the auction though because it violated the “no human body parts” rule.

Gimme a minute, I can probably find the photo, of a scrawny chicken-looking Haim holding up the tooth and baggie of hair. Oh, and the hair comes with a certificate of authenticity. He wrote “bag of haim (crossed out) hair” and signed it.

Lemme see if I can find a link…

Ah, [here we go](http://www.x-entertainment.com/archive/quickies/17/index.shtml), with pics and all. Terribly sad, actually.

Oh, so I’m voting for Feldman. He’s at least got his shit together enough to have a few bit parts and guest spots, some behind-the-camera work, and has the roole of husband and father… and he’s not selling clumps of his hair on eBay.

The sad thing is that Haim showed some promise in _Lucas_. Feldman couldn’t act his way out of a paper bag if the bottom was cut out.

True, and when he was in that TV movie-of-the-week (boohoo tear jerker) _A Time to Live_ his performance was actually rather nuanced. He had a lot of potential and probably could have done some great stuff if he hadn’t been in so many crappy flicks.

I think nowadays though, his brain is a bit too drug-addled. Members of his own fansite actually discuss how straighforwardly _dumb_ he is. And I remember an interview for the _Lost Boys_ press junket and --wow-- was he ever the inarticulate meathead! The most interesting thing he said was that he loved doing _Lost Boys_ because he got to “wear cool clothes.”

Talent-wise, Haim could have fared better. I dunno about presently. He has been working fairly consistently, but I don’t think we’ll ever see a good performance out of him again.
