I don’t doubt either that Adama wouldn’t hesitate to take action if he saw the need for it, but the only one who knows or even suspects that Baltar isn’t right in the head is Baltar. He’s always been able to pass off any oddness as the eccentricities of a gifted individual. ---

Whatever the Cylon ship is - and I’m sure it’s going to be a major plot point and gets Blowed Up Real Goood - I hope that its destruction will cause a significant change in tactics for the Cylons. Imagine if it is the Cylon equivalent of a homeworld, and its destruction causes the Cylons to lose part of their massive military superiority. They become more desparate in their tatics, the Great Mysterious Plan of Stuff is either modified or discarded. Compare that to the usual “Ooo, the good guys win, but nothing really changes” in other shows. ---

Terminate Adama’s entire command, begining wih Adama? That Cain is a ruthless bitch. I think her XO will warn Adama though. Did anyone else think Cain was going to kiss Starbuck in the scene where she made her CAG? You know the part where Cain asks Starbuck if she always gets what she wants and Starbuck replys with, “Most of the time.” ---

I’ve always liked our President, but when she just comes out with the necessity of killing Kane…I think I got a stiffy. Okay, not really. But I did find myselfloving her even more. When it comes down to it, though, it seems to me that Kane will learn that respect beats fear every time. From the preview, I’m going to bet that… Starbuck just might not be the person sticking the gun in Kane’s face. -Joebuck (not THAT guy) ---

I almost lost faith and called jump the shark after last season’s Saving Private Crashdown stuff, glad to see how wrong I was. That was the best frackin’ hour of television I’ve seen in maybe forever. Next Friday is WAY too far away. (I was disappointed that Zarek didn’t get called in for Adama’s little job, though. I figured him as an obvious pick for the job.) ---
