Note on episode numbering: There are 22 episodes in season four. The first two, officially, were used on the “Razor” movie. Therefore the first “actual” episode of season four was #3, and the cliffhanger finale in June was #12. That makes this one, even though it’s the 11th “actual” episode of season four, episode #13, according to official internal numbering. This, apparently, has proved extremely confusing to a lot of people, so the overwhelming majority of online references show this episode numbered as 4.11 instead of 13. This looks to be a break in practice; as of the finale, sites were maybe half-and-half using the “official” numbering versus the “sensible” numbering. The break, it seems, was long, and memories are short, so the “sensible” scheme now predominates on fan sites and such. Here, I was using the “official” scheme, so just to stay consistent, and to prevent confusion when looking up past threads, I’m going to continue with it. Just an FYI in case you’re comparing this entry to what’s shown on other sites. I really missed these threads while I was elsewhere. Did read them even when I wasn’t able to post. Kinda bittersweet that the last episodes are starting. Good to finally see the ending, bad that it is the ending. It’s very rare for a series to capture my attention the way BSG has. ---

Yeah, I feel the same, except… I meant to add, in the OP, “this is the final stretch of episodes, until the standalone movie ‘The Plan’ airs, and until the new spinoff series ‘Caprica’ starts.” Assuming those don’t suck (fingers crossed), we’ll have Galacticky goodness coming our way for some time yet. ---

Hadn’t heard about The Plan. Not really expecting much from Caprica. We will already know how the main story ended, so the prequel just doesn’t seem that exciting to me…prolly the same reason I never really liked Star Wars 4,5, or 6. ---

As I noted in the other thread, the episode description provided by my cable system says the final cylon will be revealed tonight. I wasn’t expecting it so soon. I’m still guessing it’s Gaeta, but there are plenty of other “likely suspects”. About 3.5 hours till the new episode starts. Scifi is running a special with RDM right now, and will then air the end of the last half season leading in to the new episode… ---

Re the revelation, apparently the advance-screener DVD sent to TV critics had one scene redacted. General supposition is that it contains the reveal of the last Cylon, though this is speculative. If it turns out to be true, it could turn out to be a nifty narrative trick, along the lines of letting the storyline arrive at Earth well ahead of viewers’ expectations, pulling the rug out from under us a bit, and clearing away a distraction (“yeah, yeah, so Starbuck marries Athena and Adama’s pregnant with Cavil’s child, but _WHO IS THE FINAL CYLON_, I bet it’s Boxey”) so they can focus on the storytelling. Naturally, until the show airs, this is just guessing. ---

Everyone recording this episode, set your recorders to run over! The episode is running 4 minutes past 11:00 p.m. Oh, and the rumors are flying that tonight is the night we find out who the final Cylon is. I saw a Hollywood Reporter article where Ronald Moore confirms that **tonight is the night**. I guess we’ll see. ---
