I can’t go - I’ll be seeing the new Harry Potter movie at the Metreon at 7. Shame, too - I have to work in the city on Saturday anyway.
The Metreon is two blocks away. You want to stop by? The movie should be over before 10pm. According to **Demo** , Dopers are planning to stay there for a while. Depending on traffic, I should be there at elevenish. I’ll the one reading a copy of ‘How to Win Friends and Influence People’. (Want to make a good impression and all that.) In any case, enjoy the movie! ---

Yea, we’ll definitely be there late. Won’t be the first time we’ve closed the place down, won’t be the last. We don’t bite, really! (usually) ---

I think I can find a squid to bring, but I’m not sure about a goat. The Chieftain’s menu just happens to include a couple of pies, FYI. ---

Unfortunately, It doesn’t look like I’m going to make it. Your Bay Area Dopefest is safe from infestation by obnoxious SoCal pests (at least this one). ---

They are still all over there now, and probably will be for…oh…the next three or four days at the least. 😉 [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/bay-area-dopefest-the-chieftain-sat-7-14-6-30pm/408048.md?page=6)
