I made the Siameezers 3rd birthday cake out of liver treats, tiny shrimps and kitty pate’. They hated it. I knew better than to put candles or sparklers on it. But I did light a number 3 candle on the table. That’s all they cared about. I had to put it away. I had gifts, catnip and everything. Even balloons. Nope. They roamed around looking for the candle.:smack: Never, exactly NEVER have I one-upped these 2. I’ve recently decided it’s not worth it. I gave up. ---

When I got home from the Clinic the Siameezers were alarmed. Hackles up, tails high and kinked. I looked and looked and found the offending thing. A huge, I mean big, (6in) centipede in the laundry room. Gah!!:eek: I put a heavy bowl over it. Someone else is gonna deal with it. Door’s shut. Cat’s are now unhappy. They can’t get to the dryer top beds. I moved the cat tree back to the original location. That’s stopped the yowling for now. ---

Centipede-giganticus is now dead and disposed of. TY. Ick! The big Wrek showed up, got rid of the monster. Had a shower and his 5:30 Jack and one cube of ice. He gave me some insurance crap I gotta fill out. Crap, crap, crap! But it’s done. He’s back at the Deer Camp. Modern gun season opens this weekend. They have a big crowd, I hear. I ain’t poking my head out no more than I have to, for the duration. Kitties are on their beloved dryer beds. Dogs are sleeping on big Wreks chair. For once I’m empty lapped. Kinda nice. ---
