Howdy yā€™all. Finally the weekend is here. I just got back from the grocery store but need to go back at some point for watermelon thanks to you all. I had a nice surprise at irk today. I received a Certificate of Recognition from the Region for my mad Credit Card handling skills. It not even worth the paper itā€™s printed on but itā€™s the thought that counts I guess. I slipped out of irk around 2 pm. It is just so quiet here without hubby. I am beginning to miss him. He will head home tomorrow after graduation but will probably not make it home until Sunday. So the grocery store was buzzing with tons of peeps stocking up for the holiday weekend. I got in and out as quick as I could. Bought enough food for me and Lucky Louie for a few days and it was over $200. Gonna have to quit eating. I will probably run back for a watermelon though. I hope all have a wonderful long weekend and be safe. ---

Good Morninā€™ Yā€™all! Up and caffienatinā€™. _YAWN_ 'Tis 68 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 92 for the day. Definitely cee-mint pond time! In keepinā€™ with the wild critter encounters theme, I have a wild critter story. Ok, not exactly a wild critter encountered in nature, but a wild critter encounter nonetheless. I found a lizard in the study. I bravely scooped him/her (who knows!) up and put him/her out on da back porch to hang with the other lizards or do whatever it is lizards do. A wild critter encounter at six-thirty in the a.m. even! šŸ˜ƒ Yeah, I live such an excitatinā€™ life. Soonish I shall put chikin laigs in the smoker for this afternoonā€™s big eats time. People will start showinā€™ up around elevinish. I also need to make a run over to the church house to get ice. Iā€™ve been told to please come get ice from there as Hoshi (thatā€™s the name of the ice machine) is really full and needs to be emptied out somewhat. Heck, one could empty the thing this morninā€™ and tomorrow morninā€™ it would look like no one ever got ice. It makes a lot of ice quick! For now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then chikin smokinā€™, purtification, ice gettinā€™ and so forth must commence! Happy Sattidy Yā€™all! ---

Up and caffeinated. Sounds like they are [del]adding shark repellant[/del]chlorinating the pool. Gordie will have the Boxer Twin freakout sometime in the next 30 minutes. Happy Saturday! Itā€™s a beautiful day, the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are chirping. Itā€™s a nice 63 degrees with a projected high of 75. It canā€™t get much better than this. Nothing special on the agenda today. My friend and I postponed the birthday celebration until after I have my procedure. I didnā€™t want to disappoint her but it was her idea, so that worked out well. \*\*Doggio \*\* there are worse things than watching paint dry. My ex used to watch fishing shows. Two men sitting in a boat. One says, ā€˜they sure arenā€™t biting todayā€™. The other, ā€˜nopeā€™. Watching paint dry would have been a step up. Happy lizard catching **Swampy** , happy painting **FCM** , Happy Smoking for all you smokers, donā€™t bogart the grill. ---
