Incidentally, few things are funnier looking than a pug literally drooling as she waits for her supper dish to be prepared. I think Higgs made a drool puddle on the dining room floor! Goofy dog. ---

We went up to large and in charge Dawson, Jawja to check on JDD’s father in the nursin’ home. JDD and Partner are at the beach this week so I told JDD’s brother I’d help him out a little this week by goin’ one night to see about Mr. Frank. Anywho, OYKW went with me and we had a nice visit. It’d been about a month since I’d been and I should go see him more often. Heh. He knows us, but is maybe not quite sure WHY he knows us, so, in his mind, we’re just two of the “boys” who grew up and went to school with his children. I like to think of it as my secret double life. 😃 Anywho, that’s the news from swampland. ---

Howdy. **Dooggioo** I have been meaning to ask did ya’ll lose those credit card transactions when you had those problems at irk last weekend? I ask cause we have many credit card transaction, in fact most, and we have lots of power failures, connectivity issues. I am bordering on depressed. No motivation, burned out at irk, still short staffed and on an on and on. I don’t sleep well. Becoming depressed. I am enjoying my alone time while hubby is away but do miss his help w the critters especially the cat whom is his pet. It’s hard bringing Louie to work, just the commute, and finding time to tend to him there but I have my dept heads blessings to bring him and that is what I must do. I will not punish my dog by leaving him cooped up for almost twelve hours. Not fair to him. He just turned 8 years old! I need to go grocery shopping but have just been scrounging. On the plus sign I got a little ironing done, a load of laundry and walked the dog and cat. Thank Goodness Moanday is a holiday so three day weekend for me if my weekend girl does not let me down. Sad. ---

You have to get up to snuff for the marauding hoards of mumpers to descend upon the wilds of Jawja. **Mooom** , sometimes, it’s the smallest projects that are the hardest to get the details right on. We had a good cookout/potluck at irk today with one of my cow-orkers bringing organic poke chops and hamburgers from her farm, my strawberry spinach salad, tater salad, chips, cookies and a veggie tray. Got the little red beast serviced after irk, along withtwo taillight bulbs and got out for under $ 40. Good for another couple of months. ---

Happy Hump Day! I’m up too early and plan on laying back down in a few. According to my phone app it’s 49 degrees outside but since the app is stuck on Saturday who knows. My window is open and the air feels cool. The male half of the HFH is back. Too bad, I was hoping he was gone for good. I was wondering wth all that banging around was last night. _He_ must be the one that slammed the door so hard the whole house shook. The damn dogs are howling now. Just what people need, dogs howling at 5:30 am. Nothing special going on today. Just irk, irk and more irk. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 66 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 90 for the day. Finally, normal later Spring weather! Today I get to make a trip up to the north forty. First, however, I must go to the orifice. Dependin’ on how much time I need to spend there, I will either be there the whole day or finish up irk from da cave. If’n I need to get a buncha paperirk stuff sent off to TPTB, it just makes more sense to me to do it from da cave as I practically pass right by da cave on my way back from the north forty and can scan and upload documents just as well from here as I can from the orifice. Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. I have a strong urge for spam for some reason. 😃 Also, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence.
