That would be Amperes, (named after Andre Marie Ampere. The French give the name of the Holy Virgin to boys as well as girls.) a measurement of current. Current, Amps go through the bug. Volts (named after Allesandro Volta) appear across the bug. Power (Watts, name after Sir Issac Watt) is the product of voltage and current; the amount of power that is used to incinerate the harmless insect, who is just trying to make a living. ---
