I wish there was something I could say to help. I know from experience that things can seem worse than they really are in the early hours of the morning. Our perception changes, but we just have to know that this happens, and that the reality is not as bad as it may seem at the moment. ---

I would play a computer game, or do an [online jigsaw puzzle](https://www.jigidi.com/), or read a book to distract myself. But that’s just me. Do something to absorb your attention in something else for a while, and you’ll start to feel better. ---

I love you, Bekkers bay-bee! I use the coloring app “Happy Color” to distract me when my neck is on the warpath, and the pain meds haven’t kicked in yet. Beck, it’s hard to help from here but I’ll try. I would no longer be checking into this place without you. And I need to check in here to stay sane. If I could, I’d get in my car and drive down to see you. I’d have to stop to work a car race at a track in Oklahoma first because I’d be in big trouble if I didn’t. But hey, small stuff. I think you are the bomb! 🤩 I second VOW’s recommendation for a coloring app. That, and a couple of other mindless game apps really help me when I’m having trouble with reality. ---
